Acai Bowl

Happy Monday! Happy New Year everyone! Hope you ate a lot, spend fun times with loved ones. I know i had a great holidays. I haven’t been posting any of my recipes but i’m back and i hope you enjoy this recipe i want to share with all of you today. I discovered my new breakfast/brunch obsession. ACAI BOWL! It already sounds delicious. This recipe is so easy to make. All  you need is fruits of you choice, lots of nuts and seeds of your choice, acai powder and empty belly. 

Well, let’s get started with the recipe!


   NOTE: Blender ( I used Ninja high-power blender) 

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 cup of organic frozen blueberries
  • 1 handful of organic frozen strawberries
  • 2 tsp of acai powder
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk ( or soy milk)
  • 1 tbsp of agave nectar
  • 1 tbsp of chia and flax seeds

Toppings: 

  • granola
  • goji berry
  • cranberries
  • golden raisins
  • pumpkin seeds
  • coconut flakes
  • fresh tangerine
  • chia and flax seeds

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Directions:

  1. Add your frozen berries, almond milk, agave nectar, acai powder, chia and flax seeds to a blender. Blend few minutes until smooth and creamy not too runny. You can add more milk if it looks too thick. It should look like frozen yogurt.
  2. Now add the acai smoothie into the bowl with spoon.
  3. Top with fruits of your choice, granola, goji berry, cranberries, golden raisins, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, and sprinkle chia and flax seeds at the end.
  4. Now get your spoon and enjoy!4
