Why Vegan?
My passion for food started when i was a little girl. My grandma would make amazing dishes and i grew up watching her cook. Little while do I know i discovered vegetarian diet. I grew up in Kazakhstan where every dish is made of a meat. Since i was a kid i loved animals and i looked at meat differently. It completely changed my mind to what i put into my body. I was vegetarian for 5 years. It was very hard considering everyone in my family ate animal products. After so many years i went back to eating meat. Yes, i know . I started transitioning into a vegan diet in june of 2014. There lots of reason why i choose to become vegan. Its suffering and pain these animals go through and my personal health choice. I watched lots of documentaries and read many books before i chose this new and amazing journey. Its my lifestyle now and i absolutely enjoy it!
Personal life:
I live in New York with my amazing husband Ray and our sweet husky Yuki. My husband supports my choose and he is vegan as well (YAY!!). When i’m not blogging you can find me cleaning our apartment or walking Yuki for her long walks. I enjoy working with kids. They are just bundle of joy! Yoga and meditation is my safe place where I can escape and be happy. I enjoy spending the day just walking around the park, farms, food festivals and just being outside with people I love!
